Hard anodizing is required for aluminum and aluminum alloy parts to have high wear resistance, heat resistance, and good insulation performance.  Compared to the hard chromium process, hard oxidation has the advantages of low cost, strong film adhesion, more convenient treatment of electroplating liquids, and less wastewater in the hard chromium electroplating process.  The simultaneous oxidation reactions include sandblasting oxidation, ordinary oxidation, and hard oxidation.
